Maybe that is why the cover says she was writing as Jax. Must be a dual-personality thing. :-) Anyway, this book was about people who were magic. They all had different powers and were fighting against a guy who wanted to be the One Who Ruled Them All. (Hehe I was channeling my little hobbit there for a sec.) There were many different types of magic mentioned and we didn’t get to see all of it put to use. There were also lots of people who were hiding things from their past and a few of the secrets were revealed in the book, but many weren’t so I was thinking maybe this will turn into a series.
